Volunteers must be at least 14 to register as Flex Members. Younger volunteers may participate in Family Friendly (FF) projects with an adult who is a Flex member. The minimum age requirement is noted in the project description.

Many Flex projects are open to court-referred volunteers, depending on the nature of the offense.
