Team Leaders are essential to the success of
Volunteer San Diego’s Flexible Volunteer Program.
Without Team Leaders, Flex would not exist.
Team Leaders:
Are the primary contact at
each project
Act as a liaison between Volunteer
San Diego and the organization where
the project
occurs
Respond to volunteer questions about their
project
Greet volunteers and sign them in as they
arrive
Ensure the project runs smoothly
Complete
attendance and impact information after the project
Anyone can become a Team Leader, as long as
they
are:
At least 18 years old
An active Flex
Member
Be able to pass a background check
Willing to commit to leading at least 1
project a month for at least 4-6 months
Comfortable leading a group of diverse volunteers
Accessible via e-mail
Committed to making a
difference in the community!
Become a Team Leader
Team leaders will lead and manage
a project and serve as the VSD
representative and liaison with the
community organization. Sound like a lot?
Don't worry! VSD staff members or mentor
Team Leaders will guide you every step of
the way and training will be provided. This
