Change yourself. Change your world. Volunteer.

Be a Team Leader!

About Team Leaders

Team Leaders are essential to the success of Volunteer San Diego’s Flexible Volunteer Program. Without Team Leaders, Flex would not exist.

Team Leaders:
  • Are the primary contact at each project
  • Act as a liaison between Volunteer San Diego and the organization where
    the project occurs
  • Respond to volunteer questions about their project
  • Greet volunteers and sign them in as they arrive
  • Ensure the project runs smoothly
  • Complete attendance and impact information after the project
Anyone can become a Team Leader, as long as they are:
  • At least 18 years old
  • An active Flex Member
  • Be able to pass a background check
  • Willing to commit to leading at least 1 project a month for at least 4-6 months
  • Comfortable leading a group of diverse volunteers
  • Accessible via e-mail
  • Committed to making a difference in the community!
