Youth Zone! The new name will be Club eXcel
and
applications are now available! Club
eXcel will be better than ever and will
encourage even more youth leadership in
2009-2010.
eXcel Youth Zone promotes youth as resources
and leaders in their local, regional,
national and global communities. Through
positive, meaningful, high-quality youth led
service-learning projects, eXcel Youth Zone
encourages youth to make service a life long
commitment.

Who can be a Club eXcel
member?
Are you a high school student interested in
making a difference in your community? Do you want
to learn new skills that help you identify problems
in the community and teach you how to create
positive change? Are you ready to take the next
step?
Apply to be a Club eXcel
member TODAY!
Members of Club eXcel, a youth leadership council,
don't just participate in service projects, they
plan, lead and reflect on those events, identify
problems in the community, and work to develop
effective and meaningful solutions.
Responsibilities
Club eXcel members meet bi-monthly to:
- Plan, create and volunteer at service
projects.
- Complete leadership trainings to help teach you
how to plan projects.
- Participate in a subcommittee during
meetings to plan the service projects.
- Elect, support and
encourage Club eXcel officers and members.

Promote volunteer opportunities on school
campuses

Honors & Awards
As a member of Club eXcel, you will receive recognition and
are eligible for service-based awards, including the
President’s Volunteer Service Award and
Outstanding Club eXcel Award.
Application Process
